Ellie is a wonderful 2 1/2 year old lab mix who is just a love. She wags her tail with any eye contact made with her. She smiles at you in her own way! She snuggles, plays, fetches, and loves to swim. She loves to be around you all of the time. She rings a bell on the door to go potty. She loves to run and play outside. She is crate trained and goes to her crate when you say night night Ellie. She knows no, off, sit, stay, come, wait. Very easily trained and could learn many tricks and commands.

Bogie and Bacall were picked up together as strays and taken to Columbia Cty AC. They are purebred black beauties. Both look to be around 3 yeears old and bear a strong resemblance to one another. Its entirely possible they too are sibs or related. Bacall is very very sweet and demure. An easy keeper :)

I am a survivor, and have used my wits, guile and intelligence to both endure a harrowing shelter experience and ensure my own rescue. I rolled into my foster home, settled down nicely into a 6 pack of dogs, awaited instructions. Training began day 1 and continues to this day. I am an avid student and pick up tricks and commands with ease - corrections too! I need to be told ONCE, reminded twice (and maybe again if curiosity gets the best of me). Certain allowances have been made for my 'showboating'. I have been known to showcase my many talents... drumroll please ...

When you first meet Smitty, he looks so serious, but his wagging tail quickly gives him away. He's an easygoing, happy dog that seems to love children.

Children love him, too, probably because of his size and because he doesn't try to jump on them. He does so well on a leash that a kid could easily take him for a walk. He's also a real-life stuffed animal at bedtime.

Flurry takes life in s t r i d e. He has a jubilant joie de vivre ~ an exuberance that warms your soul. He is fun loving and the time is always right. He adores people.

This boy, Grady, is just too sweet and handsome besides. He didn't understand why he was at the shelter without his family....his beautiful eyes and pleading expression spoke to a fellow rescuer - she was hooked, contacted us and now we are too! :)

BARLEY is a love. Loves to go for a gentle walk and is great on leash. Likes other dogs and his people too.

He slept on the couch, didn't cry and NO accidents. Dog walker took he & Andie out for their daily walk around noon. I don't think he ever had anyone truly pay attention to him. I have been smothering him with love and kisses and he is so happy. We all had rib eye last night as a good-bye party for Dan. The dogs were in heaven :)

In summary ~ he is a total lover!

PRECIOUS is a very sweet 7-8 yr old purebred yellow labbie who has known a hard life.
She was found on the side of the interstate along with her 2 pups; we think the pups were born there. She’s a very humble spirit, loving & sweet. She’s come a long way in 3 weeks, now enjoys riding in the car & going for daily walks in the woods with our ‘pack’ of dogs.

I saved a Black Lab, Abby, that was in the street in front of my house. Lost and lonely.

I surrendered her to animal control so her owners could find her. When no one came forward to reclaim her, she was put on 'death row' so I adopted her to save her life for the second time,

Oh if you could meet this wiggle worm, you would never look back! She is making every effort to contain herself, but her love of life and enthusiasm has gotten the best of her.
